Cool-season annual wildflower

Fivespot

White annual flowers marked with five unmistakable violet-purple spots.

Fivespot is a small flower with a very specific sense of style: five pale petals, each marked with a dark violet-purple spot near the tip. Sow it in cool-season drifts, edges, informal beds, or children’s gardens where close-up detail matters as much as mass color.
